RS to participate in Sea Japan 2014
From 9 to 11 April 2014, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) will for the first time exhibit at the Sea Japan exhibition to take place in Tokyo, Japan.
In the course of the previous years, RS has been actively cooperating with the leading Japanese manufacturers of equipment which is widely used for Russian shipbuilding and repair orders placed in the Asian and Pacific region. RS joint work with the Japanese colleagues has demonstrated the high potential of the Russian market for manufacturers of ship and special purpose equipment from Japan.
RS has established a series of annual Russian-Japanese seminars for the exchange of expert opinions and for extending cooperation capabilities in shipbuilding and repair for Russian and Japanese companies.
The first two seminars which took place in Japan (Tokyo) in April 2012 and in Russia (Vladivostok) in September 2012 were of great interest both for the Japanese and the Russian party.
In September 2013, RS held the third international seminar ‘Enhancing Russian-Japanese Cooperation in Shipbuilding and Repair’ in Vladivostok together with the Japan Ship Design Association and Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association.
