China bullish in maintaining similar pace of growth in trade in 2014
CHINA'S Ministry of Commerce has expressed confidence in maintaining the same pace of growth in foreign trade this year as last, according to Shen Danyang, ministry spokesman.
In a statement on the ministry's website, http://www.mofcom.gov.cn, it was also noted that exports may see some fluctuation in the first quarter of this year due to seasonal factors, Reuters reported.
China's exports grew 7.9 per cent for all of 2013 compared with the previous year, while imports rose 7.3 per cent, missing an official eight per cent growth target.
