Heilongjiang January outbound rail cargo down 24pc to 9.56 million tonnes
NORTHEASTERN farming province of Heilongjiang posted a 24 per cent year-on-year decline in rail outbound cargo to 9.56 million tonnes in January 2014, reports Xinhua.
The average daily truck loading in the month declined 24.8 per cent year on year to 4,918 vehicles.
Its major products such as coal's average daily truck loading fell 21.3 per cent year on year to 1,660 vehicles, coke decreased 10.9 per cent to 300 vehicles, grain dropped 40.2 per cent to 892 vehicles, petroleum went down 8.9 per cent to 599 vehicles and timber came down 3.6 per cent to 235 vehicles. While its metallurgical products such as steels increased 2.6 per cent to 222 vehicles.
