Xinjiang's Khorgas road checkpoint trade cargo hits new high, up 32.5pc
LAST year, Xinjiang's Khorgas road border checkpoint handled 780,400 tonnes of imports and exports, which increased 32.5 per cent from 2012 to a new high since 1994, Xinhua reports.
This is also the fourth consecutive year that the checkpoint's trade cargo volume recorded growth. Exports grew 29.86 per cent to 731,000 tonnes. Imports surged 90.35 per cent to 49,300 tonnes.
