HK port falls 2.7pc in January to 2 million TEU, Singapore up 2.1pc
FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled two million TEU in January, representing a year-on-year decline of 2.7 per cent from 2.1 million TEU in January last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 2.1 per cent increase in container movement in January, having handled 2.69 million TEU compared to 2.63 million TEU in January last year.
