Guiyang plans logistics parks with annual revenues of US$164 million
GUIYANG Municipal Bureau of Commerce in southern China's Guizhou province revealed that the city's medium and long-term plan on developing logistics parks has been approved.
The city government plans to build more than one logistics park with an annual revenue of CNY1 billion (US$164 million) by 2015, reports Xinhua.
The plan will be carried out in two phases. From 2013 to 2015, the city aims to set up a basic logistics park system to enhance this sector's operational efficiency, during which time it will build one or two logistics parks.
From 2016 to 2020, the city will build one or two national leading logistics parks of annual operating revenue over CNY2 billion to drive the city's total logistics expenditure to its GDP ratio to go down one to two per cent.
According to the plan, Guiyang will focus on the construction of five logistics parks such as Dulaying Logistics Park, Longdongbao Airport Logistics Park, Gaimao Logistics Park, Jinqing E-commerce Logistics Park and Xiuwen Logistics Park.
