Kuehne + Nagel, LA's Commodity Forwarders tie-up in perishables deal
SWISS forwarding giant Kuehne + Nagel has signed an agreement with Los Angeles perishables specialists Commodity Forwarders to offer transport to and from the United States via all modes of transport.
As both companies serve all facets of the perishables industry including fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, meat and poultry, the partnership will meet customers' needs, "especially global perishables customers requiring services on the US west coast," said K+N air logistics chief Greg Martin.
CFI's has 13 offices and ships from 10 regions via truck, rail, air and ocean, which puts them in a particularly strong position to handle perishables within and from the US.
