Worldscale rates for Libya's Zueitina to rise: Worldscale Association
Worldscale rates for loading and discharging in the Libyan port of Zueitina are set to rise, the Worldscale Association said in a circular Friday.
"In light of recent information regarding increased Port Service Tariff the Associations find it necessary to revise all rates involving loading or discharging at Zueitina," said the circular.
The new rates for voyages involving Zueitina can now be obtained by adding $0.14 to the flat rate for voyages involving the port.
The association said the change is effective on all voyages on which loading has commenced on or after February 7, 2014.
