StederGroup moves 3 x 252-ton cables from Italy-Netherlands
WORLDWIDE Project Consortium (WWPC) member for The Netherlands, StederGroup, has moved three heavy cable reels from Italy to the Netherlands.
Steders chartered a box-shaped coaster vessel to transport the reels that each weighed 252 tons by sea.
In addition, to managing the ocean carriage the company was responsible for arranging the loading, weight spread, proper lashing and welding of the reels to the tank top of the ship.
The cables will be installed on a heavy lift crane in The Netherlands.
