G6 Alliance to void two more Asia-Europe services over winter months
THE G6 Alliance of shipping lines, APL, Hapag-Lloyd, HMM, MOL, NYK and OOCL, are cancelling two more Asia-Europe sailings in response to seasonal changes in market demand.
The voided sailings will be made on the following services: Loop 4 in week six, estimated time of arrival in Ningbo on February 7; and Loop 7 in week seven (ETA Qingdao on February 10).
These two voided sailings are in addition to the withdrawal of eight Asia-Europe sailings from late October 2013 to February 2014 owing to anticipated low demand over the winter.
The voided Asia-North Europe sailing still to come is on Loop 6 in week 7 (ETA Kaohsiung on February 10) as well as being voided on the Asia-Mediterranean service, EUM, in week 7 (ETA Busan on February 9).
