PC “Lithuanian Shipping Company” signed an agreement to sell motor vessel “Alka”
On the 13th January, 2014 Board of Directors of PC “Lithuanian Shipping Company” (LJL) has approved an agreement to sell the motor vessel „Alka“.
“Consistently implementing approved company’s strategic business plan for the years 2014-2016, it was decided to sell this motor vessel, concentrating on the targeted “Handysize” segment”, - underlined Audronis Lubys, General Director of PC “Lithuanian Shipping Company”.
The conditions of the sale are confidential. The sale of motor vessel “Alka” will not have any material effect on LJL financial results. Funds received from the sale will be used for working capital and repayment of the loans.
