CSBC secures US$50 million order of two 1,800 TEU from Iseaco
CHINA Shipbuilding Corporation (CSBC) of Taiwan has secured a build of two 1,800 TEU for Singapore shipowner Iseaco Holdings at a price of US$25 million each.
The vessels will be delivered in the first quarter 2016 for deployment by Iseaco's YL Singapore Shipping and YL Colombo Shipping.
The order adds to CSBC's current order of 12 1,800 TEU for SITC International, four 8,000-TEU vessels for Taiwan's Evergreen and two 4,600 TEU for Yang Ming being built at its shipyard in Greater Kaohsiung.
