ECU-LINE teams up with FCL Marine to offer FCL services worldwide
ECU-LINE, one of the largest less-than-container-load (LCL) service providers, has partnered with FCL Marine Agencies Rotterdam to provide customers with logistics services across global markets.
ECU-LINE offers neutral LCL services from 200 offices across 90 countries, and FCL Marine Agencies Rotterdam is a neutral NVO service provider that specialises in full container load (FCL) services, operating in Europe, the US and Canada.
Through this partnership ECU-LINE will provide back-up through its global network, systems and benchmarked processes, while FCL Marine Rotterdam will remain as an independent division and continue to operate as a neutral FCL carrier.
Said FCL Marine Agencies Rotterdam spokesman Rick Ruisch: "FCL Marine will leverage ECU's infrastructure and global network to service customers across various markets more efficiently."
Said ECU Hold chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty: "Taking into consideration the evolving global requirements of our customers, ECU-LINE has taken this step to provide them with world class FCL services."
