Anqing box volume surpassed 30,000-TEU record in early November
EASTERN China's Anhui provincial port of Anqing handled a total of 30,000 TEU by the early November this year, setting a record high, reports Xinhua.
The port's container volume for the first time hit 20,000 TEU in 2012.
The steady growth of the port was attributed to its high quality service and efficient customs, resulting in expanded container market share in its ever-widening catchment area, as well as developing alliances with shipping agencies.
