French incinerates 30,000 'dangerous' Chinese toys worth US$136,730
FRENCH Customs have incinerated more than 30,000 Chinese toy imports valued at EUR100,000 (US$136,730), said to be dangerous to consumers.
Allegedly unsafe and inflatable plastic balls containing traces of phthalates, a toxic chemical, 320 times the EU norm, were destroyed having been imported through Belgium.
