PPG appoints Project Support Member in Germany
Heavy-lift specialists Project Professionals Group has appointed WCT World Container Trading GmbH as a Project Support Member for Germany.
PPG’s General-Manager Kevin Stephens said WCT is one of the most experienced container traders in the world for new and second-hand ISO shipping containers, office containers, and special containers.
WCT was established in July 1998 and is the biggest buyer of Hapag-Lloyd containers worldwide for more than 10 years and is purchasing containers from other shipping lines such as OOCL, China Shipping, Evergreen, Hamburg Süd, Hanjin, UASC and large leasing companies.
“PPG members now have access to one of the leading independent container traders worldwide with a well-established network focused on delivering global business services,” Mr Stephens said.
The WCT head office is located in Elmshorn, north of Hamburg.
Meanwhile, the next PPG Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management training course is from March 10-11, 2014, during Breakbulk China at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo Hotel.
The seventh PPG annual conference will be held at the Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas, from May 7– 9, 2014.
