Jingtang Dapukou terminal volume up 17pc to 500,000 TEU year to date
JINTANG Dapukou Container Terminal, in the port of Zhoushan near Ningbo, posted a year-on-year 17.4 per cent increase in overall container volume to 500,000 TEU as of November 19, 2013.
The year-to-date volume figure was posted 42 days earlier than anticipated by terminal's full-year annual objective, reports Xinhua, adding that it handled 426,000 TEU in the same period 2012.
Jintang Dapukou container terminal is the first modern container terminal in New Area Port of Zhoushan Islands and currently serving nine international shipping lanes.
