HK port up 1.6pc in October to 1.88 million TEU, Singapore up 5.6pc
FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.88 million TEU in October, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.6 per cent from 1.85 million TEU in October last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 5.5 per cent increase in container movement in October, having handled 2.8 million TEU compared to 2.7 million TEU in October last year.
