Hebei ports box volume up 57.7pc to 1.07 million TEU in first 10 months
PORTS in northern China's Hebei province posted a 57.7 per cent year-on-year increase in container volume to 1.07 million TEU as of the end of October, reports Xinhua.
Huanghua port, one of the three major ports in the province, recorded a surge of 190 per cent year on year to 187,000 TEU, which was the fastest-growing among the three ports. Tangshan port lifted 572,000 TEU, up 76.5 per cent. Qinhuangdao port's throughput grew 7.7 per cent to 315,000 TEU.
