This week, Lithuania’s Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius met with Norwegian Ambassador to Lithuania Leif Arne Ulland and the heads of company Hoegh LNG, which together with company Klaipedos Nafta has been implementing the contract on a floating liquefied natural gas storage facility (FSRU) and its construction, informs LETA/ELTA.
The prime minister assured once again that the Norwegian company was reliable one.
"Such a famous company with extensive experience is very appreciated by our Government. The company took part in the tender and won it. I have no doubts that Hoegh LNG is a reliable company and will implement the project within the deadlines," said Butkevicius.
According to company Hoegh LNG’s president, Lithuanian LNG terminal project is extremely important for Norway’s and Lithuania’s economic cooperation.
Company executives noted that the contractual obligations are carried out responsibly. At the completion of the vessel estimated 93%. According to Hoegh LNG executives, work will be done on time.
