French group Total is to bring its bunker fuel trading operations worldwide under a single entity -- Total Marine Fuels Pte Ltd -- from November 1, market sources said Friday.
Total's headquarters for global marine fuel trading will move to Singapore from Paris, sources said, adding the unit's head has relocated to Singapore.
Total has been using Total Raffinage Marketing and Total Marketing Services for its delivered bunker fuel business, and Total Oil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd for its ex-wharf bunker business.
There will be no change to the cargo trading entity Total Trading Asia, sources said.
Total was not available to comment.
