JSC "TransContainer" yesterday published its financial results for the first half of 2013.
Company's total revenue for the first half of 2013 increased by 3.5% to RUR 18,162 million as compared to the same period of 2012, operating profit decreased by 0.7% to RUR 3,726 million, EBITDA amounted to RUR 4,916 million, down 7.3% year on year, while the profit for the period increased by 1.4% year on year to RUR 2,777 million.
Company's total assets were RUR 48,427 million, Company's equity was RUR 29,328 million as of 30 June 2013.
The dynamics in TransContainer's key financial indicators was a result of still challenging market environment in the Russia partially offset by the Company's management efforts aimed at costs optimization, especially costs, as well as successful development of the Company's operations in Kazakhstan and Central Asia through the Kazakh subsidiary Kedentransservice.
