Losses are amounting among Chinese shipping lines. Currently, around 60% of dry bulk cargo carriers are in the red, and more unprofitable companies will appear, Zhou Dequan, an official from Shanghai International Shipping Research Center has warned.
According to a recent report released by the center, the Chinese shipping companies’ confidence in the shipping industry for the third quarter of this year is still weak.
