CSA Oceans* has launched an open consultation to collect the view of the marine and maritime community on the potential role that JPI Oceans can play in the European and international research and innovation landscape, including infrastructures for research and monitoring, human capacities and development of science to inform policy.
This open consultation is part of a broad mapping exercise that is being carried out by the CSA Oceans to provide support to the further development of JPI Oceans. We encourage you to engage in this process by responding to this online consultation directly or contributing to an IMarEST response.
We are seeking your inputs on gaps and knowledge needs that could potentially be relevant to JPI Oceans, and your view on how to create synergies across Europe, and how to interface with other mechanisms for European and international coordination and cooperation. We are in particular interested in your viewpoints on how JPI Oceans can add value at European level to make better use of R&D and innovation related national investments and resources, including human capacities and infrastructures.
The inputs provided through this consultation process will be analysed to inform the development of the JPI Oceans Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.
