Offshore marine services firm Swiber Holdings Limited has announced that in order to “deepen its investors’ pool” it is exploring options to establish an Islamic Trust Certificates Programme.
The group has appointed Maybank Kim Eng Securities Pte Ltd to assist and has already submitted the proposed structure to the relevant regulators for their consideration.
Swiber recently reported a doubling of net profit as compared to last year for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013.
