The General Assembly of AIPAM has elected its new Board, which for the period 2013/2016 will be composed by Alberto Annicetti, Marco Calabria, Antonio d’Antonio, Giulio Gennaro, Alessio Gnecco, Giorgio Mattarelli, Pasquale Romano.
The vitality of AIPAM is attested by the relatively young average age of the Board, just above 51, and by the fact that, for the first time from its foundation in 1995, a member based outside Italy, Rotterdam, joins the Board.
Alessio Gnecco, the incoming President, has underlined that the next three years will be very important for AIPAM, in particular due to the fact that the Association will indicate the next president of FEMAS, the Federation of European Maritime Associations of Surveyors and Consultants.
The new Board has thanked its outgoing members, President Ing. Alessandro Sommella and Delegates Luigi Beraldo, Riccardo Damonte and Andrea Panarello, for the great job performed in the past three years.
AIPAM – Associazione Ingegneri Periti di Avarie Marittime – is the Italian association of experts in maritime failures and casualties.
AIPAM was founded in 1995 and it is officially recognized by the Government of the Republic of Italy.
The goals of AIPAM are to raise and to maintain high quality and professional standard and to study the cause and the circumstances of maritime incidents and failures.
