ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced that ZIM Container Service Pacific (ZCP) is adding the port of Norfolk to its route, starting mid-June. The first vessel to call Norfolk will be ZIM Mediterranean voyage 47/W.
The new rotation will be:
Savannah – Norfolk – New York – Halifax – Kingston – Los Angeles – Oakland – Vostochny – Ningbo – Shanghai - Pusan – Balboa – Kingston – Savannah
ZCP Shanghai-Norfolk transit time is 30 days, one of the best in the market. Rafi Ben-Ari, ZIM VP Shipping, said: “This latest upgrade of our long-standing ZCP service is aimed at responding to our customers’ needs in this trade, while making our network more efficient.”
