Container carriers Coscon Container Lines, Evergreen Lines, Pacific International Lines (PIL) and Wan Hai Lines are jointly cooperating in the Asia-West Coast South America service.
The joint service will start from Taiwan's Kaohsiung port around 3 May.
The service will be operated with nine ships of between 3,500 teu to 3,900 teu effective capacity. Four vessels will be provided by Wan Hai, three vessels by PIL, and one each from Evergreen and Coscon.
The weekly port rotation will be Kaohsiung, Shekou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Quetzal, Buenaventura, Callao, Guayaquil, Manzanillo, and Kaohsiung.
