On 25 March 2013, Cargotec completed the employee cooperation negotiations launched in November 2012, on the personnel effects in operations in Hudiksvall, Sweden. As a result of the negotiations, a total of 105 persons will be made redundant.
The measures aim at adjusting Cargotec's operations to improve the profitability of its Hiab business area and to respond to the global load handling equipment market situation. A part of the Hudiksvall unit's production responsibility will transfer to Cargotec's unit in Stargard, Poland, closer to customers and suppliers.
