WCA's Slade shipping flies 20 tons of oil & gas gear from US to India
SLADE SHIPPING, a member of WCA Projects Network (WCAPN), has arranged the delivery of oversized equipment oil and gas equipment from the US to India, involving the deployment of three specialised air freighters including the giant Antonov An-124.
The giant Russian freighter can fly 120 tonnes of outsize cargo measuring up to 6.4 metres in width, 4.4 metres high and 36.48 metres long, said Slade Shipping press release.
The company is also working on a major charter shipment for an oilfield rig from the US to Chile. That 6,000 cubic metre cargo will be moved on the MV Champ making use of the ship's two 200-tonne shipboard cranes.
WCAPN' global network of project specialists is made up of more than 340 members in 93 countries.
