Russian enclave Kaliningrad volume up 14.6pc to 360,000 TEU in 2012
CONTAINER trade through Russia's Port of Kaliningrad during 2012 increased by 14.6 per cent year on year to 360,000 TEU while overall cargo volume dropped 7.5 per cent to 12.4 million tons, reports Gdynia's Baltic Transport Journal.
Most containers through Kaliningrad were destined for local automotive industry while 10 per cent of all cargo went to mainland Russia.
