Singapore's APL introduces feeder service between Germany and Poland
SINGAPORE's APL, the container shipping arm of Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), has introduced a new feeder service to expand its presence in Europe.
The dedicated and direct PEX service will run weekly between Germany and Poland. It will provide APL's customers with timely connections to feeder ports as well as competitive transit times to Asia and the US.
The new service port rotation is Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Gdynia, Bremerhaven with the first sailing from Bremerhaven of the 1,008-TEU Akacia.
Also participating is the German carrier Hapag-Lloyd. The PEX service will add to its existing REX service, Russia Express, which calls at Gdynia, St Petersburg and Helsinki.
