Lufthansa Cargo cooperates with German humanitarian aid organisations
LUFTHANSA Cargo is teaming up with an alliance of German humanitarian organisations, Aktion Deutschland Hilft, as well as World Vision Germany in a "strategic" cooperation that aims to provide victims of natural disasters better logistics support worldwide.
The cargo airline said in a statement that "long-term planning and coordinated procedures can save lives and facilitate prompt aid and relief."
The project will deploy a Lufthansa a MD-11 freighter in a special design that will bear the logo of Aktion Deutschland Hilft to promote the charitable works.
