Huanghua port container volume soars 204pc to 102,000 TEU in 2012

HUANGHUA Port comprehensive port area in the Bohai Gulf of northern Hebei province has posted a 204 per cent year-on-year increase in container volume to 102,000 TEU in 2012, reports Xinhua.

Overall, the port recorded a 77 per cent year-on-year increase in cargo to 19.96 million tonnes in 2012 with bulk shipping accounting for 18.8 million tonnes.
