California's Menlo opens 7th distribution centre in Singapore
SAN FRANCISCO-based Menlo Worldwide Logistics continues to extend its Singapore footprint by opening a S$50 million (US$40.8 million) distribution centre to bring its total number of facilities in the country to seven totalling 195,000-square metres.
The new 37,000-square metre facility will boast advanced building design and construction materials by Second Development Pte Ltd which emphasises environmental aspects such as high levels of energy and water-use efficiency.
The Sunview facility is an important step for Menlo in providing warehousing and logistics services for Singapore, a demonstration of its investment and commitment, said Menlo president Robert Bianco.
