Nigerian minister says national aviation undergoes profound change

NIGERIAN Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, says the face of the country's aviation is rapidly changing under the government's transformation programme, which saw the commissioning of the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) within 10 months.

The Minister's message was delivered in Lagos through the rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Chinyere Kalu, at the 2012 Annual Conference organised by the Women in Aviation (WIA), Nigeria Chapter, with the theme, "Woman: A Tool of Change For Aviation Transformation."

It "is a good theme and it is coming when the Aviation Minister is currently transforming and restructuring the industry. We must accept change to transform the industry. The industry is transforming tremendously from what we have seen at the GAT that was built and commissioned in 10 months, the transformation will change the face of Nigerian aviation before the international community," said Ms Kalu, according to Lagos Business Day.
