Xinjiang Uygur gains 7.5pc increase in fruit, vegetable export value
NORTH western Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region's exported 1.3 per cent more agricultural produce to 304,000 tonnes from January to November year on year while enjoying a 7.5 per cent increase in its value to US$340 million, reports Xinhua.
Most Xinjiang produce goes to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Urumchi customs introduced supportive measures like 24-hour reservation service for customs clearance and inspection, setting up green passage and "door to door" inspection and release to guarantee the fresh, living and fast agricultural products exports.
