Dragonair expands Vietnam network with Da Nang service March 28
HONG KONG's Dragonair has announced that it will launch a thrice weekly service to Da Nang starting March 28 pending government approval.
Dragonair earlier announced that it will launch new services to Zhengzhou on January 8 to Yangon on January 9 and Wenzhou on January 25. Services to Wuhan will also be increased from seven to nine flights a week from March 31 and one extra flight will be added to Jeju from the same date, making a total of four weekly flights to this increasingly popular Korean destination.
Da Nang will become the 12th destination launched or resumed by Dragonair since April. It will also be the airline's second destination in Vietnam. Dragonair currently flies 10 times a week between Hong Kong and Hanoi, while sister airline Cathay Pacific operates 16 flights a week between Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City.
Operated by Airbus A320, the Da Nang service will depart Hong Kong Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The city's mix of natural, historical and cultural attractions makes Da Nang an ideal leisure destination.
