Container Corp of India to provide 3 Kalmar e-RTGs to Delhi box shop
KALMAR, part of Cargotec, has announced that it has signed a contract with Container Corporation of India (Concor) to supply three E-One2 rubber-tyre gantry cranes to Concor's Tuglakabad terminal in New Delhi, which includes an agreement to provide equipment Concor's fourth quarter 2012 order intake.
The electric cranes, described as being "technologically advanced and environmentally safe" by using "minimum" energy, are scheduled to be delivered in the last quarter of 2013, a company release said.
Concor operates 62 inland container deports and container freight stations in India. "We are proud to have been selected in an open bidding, and established a new customer relationship with such a distinguished player as Concor," says Cargotec country manager Jonne Hankimaa.
