Hubei province's Shijiazhuang Expressway opens to full traffic

THE Baoding section of the Zhangjiakou-Shijiazhuang Expressway in northern Hebei province recently opened to traffic, which will relieve the Beijing-Tibet Expressway traffic pressure near Beijing, according to Xinhua.

The Baoding section of the Zhangjiakou-Shijiazhuang Expressway, in midwestern areas in Baoding city across 11 counties, is one of the major projects in Hebei's highway network development plan and the key component of the highway main line.

The Zhangjiakou section and the Shijiazhuang section opened to traffic previously, along with the completion of the Baoding section construction, which marks the entire length of the expressway has opened to traffic, forming an important and the only south-north expressway route in the Hebei province.
