10,700-TEU APL Dublin delivered, joins the APL Paris on Asia-Europe run
SINGAPORE's Neptune Orient Lines' (NOL) container unit, APL, has received delivery of the 10,700-TEU APL Dublin, the last ship of six ordered in two lots in June 2007 and August 2010.
The two ships are part of an initial eight 10,000-TEU ship programme split between two shipyards (South Korea's Daewoo and Hyundai Heavy Industries), later boosted to 10 ships. The four HHI-built units were delivered between December 2011 and May 2012, reports Alphaliner. The APL Dublin now joins the G6 Asia-Europe Loop 7 with the APL Paris, which was delivered in November.
