India sets up working group to devise air cargo policy proposals
INDIA's Civil Aviation Ministry has set up a working group on Air Cargo/Express service industry, the Air Cargo Logistic Promotion Board, an interministerial group for setting policy for air cargo operations.
Its minister of state for Civil Aviation, Shri KC Venugopal, said a comprehensive policy framework and upgraded airport facilities will support an air cargo sector that represents over 30 per cent of the country's total merchandise trade.
