China Southern's Xinjiang international transshipments near 1,100 tonnes
FROM January to November, China Southern's Xinjiang branch recorded nearly 1,100 tonnes' international transshipments, Xinhua reports.
China Southern's Xinjiang branch recently handled a batch of transshipment from Guangzhou via Urumqi to Osaka. It took only 22 hours for the shipments to be handled and fly to Osaka.
Besides growing transshipments, more shippers in Xinjiang are choosing to move locally produced agricultural products via China Southern's extensive network to other parts of the world, said the report.
This year, China Southern is devoting itself in developing world-class brand and quality services in promoting their its international cargo services. The international cargo transshipment service is especially the most promoted product of the carrier's Xinjiang branch.
