Guangxi Tiandong-Debao Railway outbound cargo hit 2.8 million tonnes
SOUTHERN provincial Guangxi Tiandong-Debao Railway has moved 2.8 million tonnes of outbound freight as of the end of November since it commenced operations in July 2010 with inbound throughput reaching 1.2 million tonnes, reports Xinhua.
In the first 11 months this year, the railway moved outbound cargo of 1.1 million tonnes, increased over 10 per cent year on year.
The system is level-two electrified railway 72.5 kilometres long. It has driven the development of logistics industry in the southwest of the province shortening transits and cutting costs.
