Fujian November box volume sets a monthly high at one million TEU
EASTERN Fujian province moved one million TEU and 37,280,000 tonnes of cargo in November, setting two new monthly all-time highs, reports Xinhua.
From January to November in 2012, Fujian province coastal ports recorded a 9.9 per cent year-on-year volume increase to 9,682,600 TEU.
In the same period, the ports posted a 10.6 per cent increase in cargo volume to 376 million tonnes. The growth was 0.4 percentage points more than in the January to October period.
