APL Logistics offers SeeChange app for Apple, Android, Blackberries
SINGAPORE's APL Logistics has announced from its US headquarters in Pheonix the launch of its SeeChange Lite, a mobile version of its web-based shipment tracking tool, SeeChange.
SeeChange Lite provides secure shipment tracking capability that can be used on Apple, Android and Blackberry handheld devices. SeeChange Lite is a free, downloadable application available from the Apple Store, Google play and App World.
"This addresses the increasingly mobile needs of customers who require instant and reliable access to shipment information to manage their supply chains," said APL Logistics vice president May Chew.
It provides information on a shipments, bookings, containers and purchase orders as well as details and status updates from logistics partners, reports on current and historical activities and notifications about transit delays, said the company statement.
APL Logistics, the forwarding arm of Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), provides supply chain services, freight consolidation, warehousing and distribution management in 75 countries.
