THE number of truck exports to Russia reached 2,000 via the northeastern Heihe checkpoint, increasing fivefold year on year in the first nine months of 2012, reports Xinhua.
The export value increased almost sixfold to US$80 million from January to September. In August, the Heihe checkpoint truck exports to Russia increased 16 fold to 697 trucks. This was attributed to increasing demand in Russia and the competitive price of Chinese trucks.
