Nanning Railway Bureau to build 22 logistics centres in three years
IN the coming three years, southwest China's Guangxi Nanning Railway Bureau plans to build 22 railway logistics centres, namely three of the first class railway, 10 of the second class and nine special rail distribution points with a total capacity of 160 million tonnes a year, reports Xinhua.
Along with the development of China to ASEAN Free Trade Area, Nanning Railway Bureau has handled the cargo volume of 100 million ton in each of two consecutive years.
It will also invest CNY100 million (US$16.05 million) in upgrading freight facilities, expanding railway hubs and stations, increasing railway train's loading capacity, and undergoing technical improvement of railway loading and discharging equipments for local enterprises.
