Fruit from Shanxi province bound for 63 countries and regions worldwide
NORTHWEST China's hinterland province Shanxi exports fruit to 63 countries and regions worldwide with wider varieties, some drawn from neighbouring south east Asian countries finding markets in Europe, Africa and America, reports Xinhua.
At present, apple and pear from Shanxi province are exported to nine countries including Australia since export ban was lifted with volume reaching 573,700 tonnes in 2011.
The Shanxi provincial government issued a 13-point programme to promote foreign trade growth and has eliminated inspections and quarantine fees in the import and export of goods, transport tools and containers needed in the trade.
