Evergreen increases capacity on Piraeus-Black Sea feeder service
TAIWAN's Evergreen Line has announced that it will increase the capacity of its Black Sea Feeder (BSF) service operating between Piraeus and the Black Sea ports from the end of November.
Evergreen will deploy the 1,578-TEU Calisto from this week while independent feeder carrier X-Press will deploy the 1,107-TEU Carola.
According to Evergreen Line, the upgrade of the BSF service will provide greater capacity and improve the existing intra-Mediterranean feeder network.
The BSF service will turn in 14 days and will rotate through Piraeus, Novorossiysk, Odessa, Constanta, Varna, Istanbul-Mardas and back to Piraeus.
